WHy does the computers freeze up and restart internet explorer?

We have 3 computers. Each computer freezes up alot and internet explorer has to restart.On my sons computer it completely kills the computer. The cable company said its not on their end. The modem is theirs. The say its my old router,,all so the wallplug is kinda loose where we have them both plugged in at at the wall. My son and I both have vista and the other one is xp. Its not like we get on each others computers to pass a virus.
no dont have the disks,for any of them.

it has to be easy to use and have computer tips… organized please.. it’s for school and i’ve tried looking it up on all different seach engines. i still can’t find any! help me!

Does clearing history help? 98 compaq pasario(sp) I know, I know, you’re going to tell me I need a new computer. That’s not an option right now and I like this one just fine. Any help?

Can a school or university track what websites you have visited without installing software on your computer?

In other words can they simply use the Ethernet or wireless connection to see what websites you are visiting?

Can I install the sbcyahoo browser without installing the wireless software?

I am paying for SBC yahoo internet, but I don’t even have their browser. If I install the browser with the cd, the wireless software installs too and then shuts off my internal wireless card. Can I install just the browser and not the wireless software the cd comes with?

I am going to be starting a computer repair business.
I would like some input.
I have been fixing computers for over 10 years now.
I am a certified computer technician and have worked for Hewlett Packard reseller for over 3 years.
I am factory trained to repair majority of printing and computer equipment out today.
I would like to know what people are willing, or are comfortable in paying a good technician per hour.
I will be providing repair, maintenance, and training on software (To some older people in the area).
Is $65 to $75 per hour OK with majority of people?
Take into consideration I will come out to the house, you do not need to drag any equipment out to any store.
