I need to be able to connect both computers to one projector, and only show one computer at a time on the projector, and then be able to quickly switch the display between the two computers when needed. Is this possible?

yes, my computer teacher has one, he uses it between 20 different students and his own 3, it looks kinda like this
but it’s for the cables from your computer, you can get them pretty cheap (like $50 at best buy or something)
